Do I need to plan my wedding hair and make up? Before the big day, it is imperative that we sit and discuss all elements of the wedding day, so we can visualize the theme, and explore the expectations of how the bride wants to look. the best way to do this is to book a trial. This will ensure a hassle-free process on the wedding day.
How should I prepare ahead of the big day?Have all tan, hair and facial treatments done at least 2 days before the day. Talk to your hairdresser to see how youcan prepare your hair before the hairdresser’s arrival on the day. Ensure the bridesmaids know what they want if they are choosing their hairstyles eg, photos or pics of styles they might like.
What else do I need to think of on the big day? At your last bridal gown fitting, take note of the time it takes to put the gown on, includig any ribboning or buttons. From past experience, the final dressing stage would be one the most nerve wrecking part of the wedding day so allow plenty of time for this.
As you are getting your hair and makeup done, wear a button through shirt for easy removal.
Take an emergency kit with you including lipgloss, blotting tissues and bobby pins for hair and make-up touches, also Band-Aids, safety pins double sided tape for any wardrobe malfunctions!
